About Scottish Folds

Scottish Fold cats are a breed of feline that is recognized for their distinctively folded ears, which are the result of a genetic mutation.  However, in order to retain the health of the folded ear variety one parent must be a Scottish Fold with straight ears.  Each litter results in a mixture of folded ear and straight eared cats.  Both types are delightful.

These cats are known for their friendly and affectionate personalities, as well as their playful nature, which makes them ideal pets for families. Scottish Folds come in a range of colors, coat length, and patterns.   Their round faces and large eyes give them an endearing and adorable appearance that is sure to capture the hearts of cat lovers everywhere.
